On October 1, 2004, ECG hosted a breakfast with Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas. Rackauckas fielded questions from a small group of local attorneys who had gathered to get an update on the District Attorney's office's activities. The topics of discussion were wide-ranging and included prosecution of insurance fraud, anti-Terrorism activity and the high profile rape trial of Gregory Haidl. Other elected officials ECG has hosted include U.S. Congressman Darryl Issa and former gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon. ECG also recently hosted a reception for the National Republican Lawyers Association.
